  1. Pre-Auction
    • Initial Consultation Group meeting
      1. Determine the level of service needed by your organization
      2. Retain CKBA as your consultant and benefit auctioneer specialist
      3. Set revenue goals
    • After you have retained C King Benefit Auctions to help you with your event, you will receive a complete CKBA Benefit Auction Planning Packet. This packet contains the following tools:
      • Time line
      • Donation ideas
      • Volunteer Checklist
      • Sample Auction Day Agendas
      • Catalog Outline
      • Sample Forms and Letters
      • And Other Helpful Tools
      These tools will help you stay organized and focused as you plan your event.
    • Creating Atmosphere - CKBA will help you design the ideal atmosphere and ambiance which will create the necessary excitement needed to inspire your guests to not only enjoy themselves, but to generously participate in the fundraising aspect of the evening.
    • Item Solicitation and Attendance - We will help direct you in obtaining the most popular donations. CKBA will help you determine key donors in your community who need to be in attendance the evening of your event.
    • Itinerary Of the Night of The Auction - CKBA will assist you in determining the scheduling procedures to maintain a high-energy event through effective timing. From the closing of the silent auction sections to the structuring of the live auction, the timing of each event is critical.
    • Training Volunteers - CKBA will meet with your event coordinator and volunteers for a pre-event training session. We utilize this time to help volunteers understand the responsibilities of their tasks.
  2. Auction Day
    • Auctioneer Services
      • Silent Auction – The Silent Auction closing is the first step in building the excitement and momentum of the evening. The auctioneer works to encourage bidding and maximize your event-night revenue.
      • Live Auction – Prior to the live auction, the auctioneer utilizes several different revenue generating strategies over and above the live and silent auction. It is determined ahead of time which of these would best fit your organization and the atmosphere of the event.
      • Clerking - A CKBA representative will work with your clerking volunteers to help insure that the checkout process is efficient.
      • Additional Staffing - CKBA can staff any area of the event including:
